About me

Soroush Kamalian is an Iranian musician, composer, sound engineer, and jazz/fusion improviser based in France, who blends Persian traditions with contemporary and electronic sounds. A multi-instrumentalist (kamancheh, percussion), he develops atmospheric and cinematic music at the crossroads of Oriental improvisation, jazz, and ambient textures.​​

Active on the international scene, he composes for his own projects, visual media, and various ensembles, while also handling recording, mixing, and mastering in the studio. He has collaborated with many musicians around the world, such as Tii Robin, Alex Simu, and Khaled Yassine, and has released several albums and EPs with different artists, particularly in meditative, jazz and Persian fusion styles.​
